Hello! My name is Carrie Stallwitz and I’m the founder of Witz!PR. After spending 12 years at all levels of marketing for large and small A/E firms, my wits got the better of me. I embarked on this venture of Witz!PR to bridge the chasm of understanding between A/E/C professionals and the rest of the world. Because the built environment has such a direct impact on every person alive, I believe firms owe it to us to explain why their work matters.

My expertise is media relations and the written word, and I work across all mediums. My mission is helping my clients tell their story better. I’m an award-winning communicator and my work has been published in many national news and trade publications.

I earned an Architectural Studies degree from the University of Kansas, so I understand when firms say things like, “Our approach to architecture is one that mixes a close-to-insane level of rigor with quick jolts of humor.” My passion is architecture and I love to travel to experience it. It is my two young children who help me to see the world around us with continued wonder.

To keep current with the A/E/C industry, I’m active in the Society for Marketing Professional Services Houston Chapter. I chair the Mentoring Committee. We’re always looking for dedicated committee members! I’m also on the Communications Committee and Public Relations subcommittee. I also work with the AIA Houston on their Public Relations committee.
